Gods and Godessess

The people of Skyrim believe in nine gods. Known as Aedra

-
Akatosh- The dragon god of time and chief god

Dibella-goddess of beauty and desire

Talos- god of war and governance

Mara- mother goddess and goddess of love

Julianos- god of wisdom and logic
-
Stendarr- god of mercy and justice
-
Kynareth- goddess of nature, wind, and the sky

Zenithar- god of work and commerce
-
Arkay- god of funerals and burial rites
The deities above are the most commonly worshipped. However there are those in Skyrim who worship demonic beings known as the Daedric princes. There are sixteen Daedric princes in total.

Azura- The prince who maintains the balance of light and day

Boethia- The prince of deceit, secrecy, conspiracy, treason, and unlawful overthrow of authority

Clavicus Vile- A shape shifter, who grants wishes and power through pacts

Hermaeus Mora-The formless prince of knowledge, wants to possess all that can be known

Hircine- The prince of the Great Hunt
-
Malacath- The patron of the spurned
-
Mehrunes Dagon- The prince of destruction and energy
-
Mephala- The prince of unknown plots and a master manipulator

Meridia- The prince of all living things, enemy to the undead

Molag Bal- The prince of domination and spiritual enslavement

Namira- The prince of “ancient darkness” and all things considered repulsive

Nocturnal- The prince of night and darkness, patron of all things secret
-
Peryite- The taskmaster, desires order in his domain

Sanguine- The prince of debauchery

Sheogorath- The prince of madness

Vaermina- The prince of dreams and nightmares

All the Daedra are considered evil.
