The Dragonborn
Skyrim is a place full of legends and many strange things. One such legend is the story of the last dragonborn. The arrival of the dragonborn signifies the end of times in Skyrim. Their arrival means that Alduin the world eater, the firstborn of Akatosh, the great dragon.
The sole purpose of the dragonborn is to defeat Alduin and stop him and his followers from ending the world. Alduin exists only to devour the souls of Skyrims greatest heroes and by doing so, he would gain their power.
